Please join the Village of Murray’s 3rd Annual Christmas Light Contest! There is no entry fee; everyone is welcome to decorate their house, business, or yard by December 13th. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 16th. Garbage Fee Increased

1/3/2024

Effective January 1, 2024, trash/recycling service for the Village of Murray by Papillion Sanitation will increase to $16.15 per month for weekly trash removal. Each additional trash cart will increase to $1.58 per cart. Questions? Please contact the Clerk’s Office 402-235-2119.

PET LICENSES DUE MAY 1ST

All dogs and cats over the age of 6 months must be licensed with the Village of Murray by May 1st of each year per Ordinance 94.40.

BLUE FLAGS PLACEMENT

COLORING CONTEST FOR KIDS!

Village of Murray hosts Valentine’s Day Coloring Contest for Kids!   3 Categories:  Ages 6 & Under, Ages 7-10, and Ages 11-13.  Pick up a Coloring Page at Town Hall, Cornerstone Bank, or Cake Creations; OR print PDF version from website at www.murrayvillage.com   under "Notices".   Drop off completed entries at Town Hall, 106 W Main by February 13th.  Entries will be displayed inside Town Hall.  Winners will receive a prize package including a $10 Gift Certificate to Cake Creations.  Call 402-235-2119 with any questions!  Happy Coloring!

Introducing 988: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

On July 16, Nebraska rolled out the new 988 suicide prevention lifeline.  It is patterned after 911 and gives callers a simple, easy-to-remember number to dial for assistance during a mental health crisis.  While it can be hard to start conversations about mental health, talking about mental illness can be lifesaving.  It is never too early to seek assistance for mental health concerns – either for yourself or someone you love.

It's that time of year again!  Everyone is getting ready for Back To School time.  Whether you're a kid in school, a parent, a teacher or administrator, or just a driver in back-to-school traffic, you will find this a busy time of year!  Drivers:  Remember to yield to pedestrians, stop behind crosswalks, and stop when any bus has extended the red "Stop" placard.  Please remember to leave a few minutes earlier, drive with courtesy, and enjoy your day.  Let's all make sure this year's Back To School is safe and happy for all!
